      90% success rate technique?

Do you think theres another method out there with a really high success rate waiting to be found, or have we basically found every technique possible?

Sporadic awareness technique or All day awareness may yield you lucid dreams every night if mastered. I am no expert in this, but I can say that you have to be very determined and patient, practice this everyday and after longer amount of time, you'll see effects,

Check these link - ADA , SAT
      gab and Sageous like this.

I think that there are many more techniques out there that are yet to be discovered and amongst them probably is one that is a sure thing of getting you lucid first time! I really hope this is the case because it would be so much easier.

Sorry to say, but being lazy is exactly what does not give you lucid dreams As duck said, excitement, practice, trying not to want it too hard will help. And SAT works best with MILD + RCs, mantras and dream journal. If you up to it, WBTB gives you better chance to have a DILD.

I think pretty much all main techniques are already invented. But there is so many variants to them, you can find your own by trial and error. Keep trying, write your results in DJ and figure out what works for you and what needs to be changed. Happy dreams

In SAT I look around the room seeing if anything looks out of place, and I see if anything looks distorted, I then see if I can look at things from afar, I then do reality checks such as checking the clock, hand to palm and nose plug. Would this be a good sat attempt?

Should probably make the most of the holidays and do WBTB since I can sleep till about 11, so I won't be tired
Do you have to get out of bed when doing WBTB or can stay in bed?

Yes, that's good for awareness practice. What I start with, is this startling question 'wow, am I dreaming?' that jolts my attention and makes me stop doing whatever I'm doing. For a moment I entertain the idea, that I'm sure this is a dream or false awakening and I can feel the excitement in the pit of my stomach. Just pretend, that you have had a lucid dream that was indistinguishable from waking reality, so any waking moment is possible to actually be a dream and you don't know for sure untill you RC.

For WBTB, you do have to get out of bed. Your mind has to believe, that you are ready to start your day. Do some math to wake up your logical center of your brain and think about LDing - go on DV, watch LDing videos, read tutotials even if you have already read them. But don't stay up past the point when you not sleepy anymore. You still have to fall asleep without any problems. As you falling asleep, repeat your favorite mantra - 'I lucid dream', 'I look at my hands and realize I'm dreaming', or anything to that effect. Hope this helps
