People assume for DILDs you just go through the motions, do RCs, keep a DJ, dream recall, MILD (sometimes), etc.
One of the reasons I had a lot of success with DILD is because I incorporated a constant awareness. Not like every second thinking "Am I dreaming? Am I dreaming?" but more like being more aware of my surroundings in general.
Also, the entire first post could be figured out simply by reading BillyBob's tut, so no offense but pretty pointless.
