When you're dreaming and wonder why something is strange, your mind sometimes covers it up. For example, if you see that there is a new TV in your house and wonder "Hm, I don't remember having a TV there", your mind might make you think, "Oh yeah, I bought it on Saturday." Things sometimes make perfect sense in dreams that would make no sense in real life.

So no, I probably wouldn't have realized it was a dream, unless I did a reality check.

      Yea ..

and be aware that reality check can fail and even if don't its not necessary to become lucid. For example I have dreamed that I was walking down my street and saw blue house standing there, I didn't remembered that house so I done poke-hand reality check and my finger actually went trough my arm ...after I saw that I said well everyone can do that today I mean its funny but happens

I had a dream this morning where I was laying on my couch trying to become lucid. The weird thing is that I was trying to WILD when I was actually already dreaming. Once I got that weird falling feeling when you cross into a dream while wilding, I woke up.

Drew: The same thing happened to me this morning too. Except that Livin' la Vida Loca started blasting in my ear (part of SP) and I thought that meant I was in a dream already and woke myself up.

First of all, can you put at least a LITTLE effort into posting? It's like you don't care at all. It's hard to understand what you're saying because there's hardly any correct grammar in there. There's not even a single period. I'm not saying that you have to have perfect spelling or grammar, or even good spelling or grammar. Please, for the good of us all, make your posts coherent.

Anyway, beginning lucid dreamers- and even advanced ones, can sometimes miss obvious signs that they're dreaming. Eventually you'll get better at being able to notice these signs.

      @ pojmaster: Amen! lol

Yes, when you are dreaming I heard that the logical part of your brain is resting, so things like that will seem normal. This is where dreamsigns and such come into play. Of course you can train to recognise things like that, but everyone, even skill Lucid Dreamers have those moments.

Don't beat yourself up about it (both the spelling and the dream, but for the rest of this post I'll be addressing the dream), that kind of thing has happened to me a lot. Doing frequent reality checks can help in those situations, but sometimes they don't.

The same happened to me sometimes when I still used the nose pinching RC... Sometimes I thought that being able to breathe through your nose while pinching it was normal.
