Lucid Nightmare.

so far i havn't had a lucid dream yet. (been practicing on and off for a few months) but i am getting very close. especially lately, i realize that i might possibly be dreaming, but i always forget about RCs to prove it. But lately i've been having a lot of nightmares (just last night i dreamt i was being killed by freddie krueger, a demonic frankenstein, and the clowns from killer klowns from outer space) and during this massacre, i realized it might be a dream, but i was way too afraid to attain lucidity as i'm about to be stabbed multiple times.. has anyone ever hit lucidity during something like this? what happens?

how do you intentionally induce nightmares?

filling your mind with horror or watching movies before sleeping are good induction methods. by the way, something to remember, as you said you were too scared to attempt to gain lucidity, just always remember that if you do think its a dream it doesnt matter if you get stabbed. lol. Also you should put in your mind that if ever you are in a life threatening situation, you are definitely dreaming. Hopefully though you wont be near death in real life and end up trying to fly or something. haha

filling your mind with horror or watching movies before sleeping are good induction methods. No. That might be a primer, to get you to dream about those things, but "watching horror movies" alone is NOT an induction method. To induce a lucid dream, an induction method has to, you know, increase the likelihood that you realize you are dreaming. So maybe if they watched these movies, and did a reality check whenever a monster or scary situation appeared, this might count as an "induction." I agree also that, if you become lucid during a nightmare, then you truly have nothing to fear! As for worrying "what if this is a real life threatening situation?" ... Well, the next time you hear a true story about Frankenstein's monster and killer clowns, please alert the tabloids. As for "real life viable" nightmares (chases and rape), the best suggestion I can give is to perform a reality check to affirm that you're dreaming. Honestly, it only takes a second to glance twice at a watch, or plug your nose to see if you can still breathe.

I got many of this dreams that someones following me and im scared to death...monsters, killers...everthing...but in the last time i fugured out that i can just turn Around and look them Straight in the Eyes like "WTF you gonna do Monster? im the one dreaming and i got the power"...i did that 2 times and become lucid but because im a newbie and got so excited i woke up quickly but thats a easy method to get lucid just try to turn around and look at them...you got the Power...they cant do nothing to you...Turn fredy into Megan Fox and have your fun with her
