      Stuck in Dream?

Is it possible to be stuck in a lucid dream and not wake up? This prevents me from wanting to do it.

Nope. Well theoretically it could feel like you're stuck in a dream for a very long time but you'll wake up just like you would in a normal dream. Many of us have the opposite problem. We have trouble staying in the dream.

Well maybe if someone hits you with a hammer and you go into a coma it could last for a very long time
Lucid dreams are just normal dreams where you know what's going on, so if you're still scared you may want to consider not sleeping.
      Ever.

Nope. Isn't possible. Is it possible to be trapped in a normal dream and be unable to wake up? No. Lucid dreams aren't some sort of ancient black magic. Lucid dreaming is fun, and nothing should make you not want to do it.

I'm pretty sure when you're in a coma, you don't go into REM periods.

I actually wanted to be in a coma once, so I could dream indefinitely, until the good people of DV told me it was a bad idea, and now I'm passing that on

I would always value real life over dreams, plus, as a wise man said:

Nah you can't get stuck in a lucid dream. If anything it's the opposite problem for me. I'm stuck awake trying to get into a lucid dream...

this gives me an idea- trying to convince myself, while lucid, that I'm stuck in the dream and that my task is to get out and that this task is arduous and laborious
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus

I wish you could get stuck in a lucid dream forever. Talk about awesome.

You know, except for the whole slowly starving in your bed part. . .

LDs are no different than regular dreams aside from the fact that you're aware that you're dreaming. All the chemicals and physical processes are taking place as normal, so don't worry about getting "stuck." The best thing you could do is just relax.

Well false awakenings can sometimes keep you stuck.
But im my experience you can readily wake yourself up.

Lately, when Luciding I have found they always end with multiple DEILDS.
Eventually they get so short its frustrating, so I decide to wake up and do.
      Lucid Dreams:-
      MILD/DILD: 79
      WILD: 13
      DEILD:13
      (TOTAL: 108 )

Unfortunately out of 115+ lucid dreams this has never happened to me
