Yup, I've got her article Video Game Play and Lucid Dreams: Implications for the Development of Consciousness. Interesting stuff! Definitely something you notice on these forums

yeah I can concur with these studies. I consider myself a "high-end" gamer since I use a 3d monitor (that creates an effect identical to IMAX theaters) that greatly increases the immersiveness of games and consider it and lucid dreaming to be quite similar, though lucids have a much greater impact on ones emotions than any game can ever hope to achieve.
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
      TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!

maybe unrelated -- but today i realized that alot of the dreams ive been writing down in the past few days have been comparable to games i played when i was younger.

goes into the similar question of how film affected dreaming/dreaming affect film.

And what exactly is a "high end gamer"? Someone with all the latest gaming equipment or something?
