Dream Guides?

What exactly are they and how do I find mine?

Basically - a dream character who supposedly has complete awareness, one who has much more knowledge than the others and whose purpose is to help you with your dreams/dream control.

The most common way to find your dream guide seems to be calling out for one. There are many other ways however: Open a door to find them behind it, ask other dream characters where you could locate them, simply making one appear with your lucid abilities, etc.

If you don't like the idea of a predetermined Dream Guide, you could assign the title to any dc you like.
(Ask/Tell them to be your dream guide).

Cool. Sounds interesting.
This is more of a spiritual thing, though, isn't it?
Or can you really call upon that kind of subconsious knowledge in a lucid dream?

Some people see it that way. Though I think the general thoughts are that by labeling a character as a "dream guide", we automatically allow them to have more power/knowledge/substance than the others.

Or something like that...
