      False Memory

      Does anyone besides me get false memories while dreaming? In my dreams, and in the hypnagogic state, I remember doing things that never happened, facts that aren't true, and various other things. Sometimes this seems to interfere with attaining lucidity, since I'll just make up an excuse for something malfunctioning without realizing I should perform a reality check.

      I'm getting there, though...

      All the time. Be sure to check out Damascus's Holy Crap post, it is an extreme example of this!

      That happens to me occasionally, but more often than not, my response to logical questions is often something like "Don't know, don't care". That annoys me.

      yes well I do sometimes,but often I just think and try to recall the situation, often I find it not to hard to separate dreams from reality.

      one thing I have problem(I noticed) is that sometimes a memory of a dream can change during time,as I had a dream,then nextday I can recall the dream in a diffirent way. Just checking back at my journals I found out this, its nothing I was aware of from the begining. Althought Im not that good at recalling dreams yet.

      yea, same here...kind've annoying and a big let down to when i find its false...
