We all know how most people live their lives without trying to remember dreams. Never trying to become lucid. They just use sleep as nourishment and nourishment alone. Go to sleep at 12, and BOOM it's 9am almost instantly. Well, because people never gain consciousness in the dream world, they lose all that time of life. Does anyone here at dreamviews think it's possible to reverse the process? To make dreaming the main form of conciousness, and not waking life? Instead of going to sleep and feeling as though you've time traveled to morning, how about waking up and feeling as though you've time traveled to your next slumber? Making the lucid dream world, the MAIN world?

probably impossible but fun to think about...

but heres something a little more probable:

I'm not sure if any of you have heard of polyphasic sleeping, but basically, instead of one main sleep period, you get your sleep through short naps throughout the day. And all of us here at DV know that naps go into REM sleep pretty quick. So if an ambitious LD'r were to become a polyphasic sleeper, he or she could have up to 6 chances everyday to become lucid. And with these number of chances, the LD'r could become an expert WILD'r in no time. I think it's very possible with polyphasic sleeping, to never lose consciousness for days, or even weeks! Imagine that...
