It seems when i daydream during normal waking consciousness, i can visualize an imaginary scene just fine, (its not very realistic, though) but when I'm relaxing, like in bed, as soon as i think of something, i cant form it, because as soon as i visualize it it starts spinning out of control around me. weird, huh? but here's something even stranger: when I'm really relaxed , like right before i fall asleep, and just upon waking up, i can visualize a scene just fine, but it for some reason seems more realistic, almost as if I'm actually there looking at it. I'm wondering why is there such a difference.
