      Sound Induced Lucid Dream?

Is there any kind of lucid dreaming technique that involves sound to initiate? I feel it is my strongest and most familiar sense and I think I would have the most luck.

If so, please share! Thank you all.

You could always try and develop a reality check to a certain song. Say every time you hear "Song A" you perform a reality check. Then you could play "Song A" faintly on repeat as you sleep at night. Then if you hear the song in your dream (which often happens if it is playing in real life at the same time), you will perform your RC and boom! Lucidity!

Wow did it really. I have tryed that before. But didn't work out for me very well.

The only sound related thing I've had luck with is the subliminal stuff (that I gave a link to).

      But well done.

      It is possible

like the volume shouldn't be too low when you can't hear it, and it also shouldn't be loud enough to wake you up.

i believe there's a tutorial on it i think snow egypt provided a link.

i never tried it, but i know it can be done.

I tried setting up a little song to play in the middle of my sleep, but it woke me right up and scared the crap out of me too. One time I also played French language learning mp3s on my iPod and went to bed with it still playing, but nothing ever came of that, probably because my ears shut out the noise as soon as I fell asleep. I woke up the next morning being no more fluent in French than I ever was.

SOmetimes listening to quiet music, or binaural sounds while sleeping can result in a ton of false awakenings. This can be a fast way to lucidity.

I shall have to try this, I have some lame earphones though that will probably burrow through my eardrums.
