Thread: What surprised you the most when you had your first few LDs?

Yeah, I was amazed by how real everything looked, as well as how I felt the same as I did when I was awake. I wasn't expecting that.

I expected it to be awesome, being in control of the dream and all that stuff, but I was (and still am)surprised by how good I feel from that first rush hits the moment I become lucid until several hours after I wake up. even if nothing really cool has happened in the dream I still usually feel like I've just experienced something very special.

I was amazed at how much I wanted to get out of my bedroom.

it was dark inside the room even though it was sunny outside, so it was really weird and hard to see properly. That is one reason why I wanted to get out. But
I obviously wanted to get out and fly.

I was also surprised at how hard it was to fly. I tryed to fly and I underestimated how strange it would feel and I fell down from quite high. But got up and I knew what to expect so I flew away.
