Lightbulb I have a couple of suggestions for those semi-experienced LD out there

Ever have a LD where you wanna find someone, but can't? I have in many LDs before. My technique used to be to simply look for him/her, or knock on random doors, but now I just ask random dream characters where they are, and they'll tell me. Try it, for me anyway, it works better, and faster, than lots of other techniques. YES, some people can just summon them, but I can't. I'm tellin those people who can't!

Great advice...gonna have to try it sometime...hopefully very soon.

I don't know if this counts as "summoning," but try finding a door and expecting whoever/whatever you want to find to be on the other side. I've heard of some success stories with this one.

If I did that, some random person would show up, not the person that I would want to . I still need to work on it, but for now, that is my best technique.

This is what I do and it works really really well! I sometimes have problems with the people I summoned not looking exactly how they should, any tips for this? Might just have to work on my memory

Yeah, slam the door in their face and try again.

Try altering their appearance before your eyes...maybe a more advanced technique. Just be sure to rationalize it somehow. Don't want to go around forcing dreams to conform, or bad stuff happens. See the Dream Control Tutorial by BillyBob, here. So, yeah, just say to yourself: "I have the power to shapeshift other people because I swallowed a pill the aliens left behind," or something similar. "I have a magic device that lets me change the appearance of myself and others," if you find the alien story too hard to swallow.

The usual technique I use is the door technique. You open the door, and there you go. The reason it can be hard is probably because a lot of lucid dreamers just believes its to hard, and actually make it hard by thinking so.

There as been some dreams where I couldn't find the person I was searching for, no mater which technique I used. If I asked a DC, he would answer me he didn't know.
There is nothing like a dream to create the future.

That is my problem! For me, I beleive it can't happen, or it doesn't work. My technique works for me. Different techniques work for different people .

If anyone has any other advice for semi-experienced lucid dreamers on here, go ahead and put it down. So, assume that they know the basics. But nothing too challenging.
