Thread: Any tips on Running fast in an LD?

Just expect to be able to run fast, maybe dress up as the flash. I would just picture that each step I take would make me go very far, sounds like fun, if I have a lucid dream tonight I will definitely try.

Also if I'm not mistaken this has been a topic before, not sure though.

There have been about a million topics. I've never had any touble at all, but I know that lots of people do. I never expected it to be hard so it wasn't. If you really want you can just put on some super speed bots or something.

Speed boots is a smart idea. Like if you are having trouble flying, put on a flying charm. The power of belief helps a lot

If you're worrying about it, you'll never run fast in an LD. The only reason you can't do certain things in LDs is because you don't truly believe it'll work.

try running on all fours like a wolf or something. it has really worked for me

Really the only thing you have to do to be able to run fast is believe that you can. If you're not sure where to start, you could always just start running and then keep going faster and faster. You could also try visualizing stuff whizzing by.

I used to try to run fast in dreams, but nowadays I just fly as it's actually simpler

But if you really want to be able to run extremely fast I'd suggest that you focus on the concept that the dream itself, (the thing my mind always seems to consider to be the dominant force) is enabling you to run, and even pulling you along at tremendous speeds.

last night i had a lucid dream and i started running and noticed i was running really slow, so i started pumping my arms up and down really fast and my speed dramatically increased, i was running faster than the cars on the highway!
