      Talking Awesome. :D

I just had an AMAZING flying experience - my best so far.

It started, like most of my LDs, with a false awakening. As soon as I jumped out the window it became so so vivid. I would say it had 99% of the vividness as real life. It didn't even feel like a dream. The vividness gradually faded away but I found that if I had another false awakening it would "reset". Any idea why?

And it was the first time I had 100% faith I wouldn't fall, so my flight was very smooth. At times I flew in a belly-up position, which I hate, but I found that the less I focused on feeling annoyed, the easier it became to change into my preferred position.

And I flew SO high! I imagined gravity reversing so I "fell into the sky" - I would've liked to see outer space but it was too cloudy (any tips on this?) but there was a magnificent rainbow! And the scenery was very detailed too. I was above a large village, with hundreds and hundreds of cute cottages; right next to a forest and two rivers. And instead of fruit, the trees had *gemstones* growing in them!

*This was also the best solo flight I've had. Normally I fly by holding hands with a DC.

I have an idea for increasing clarity for my next LD. Shouting "increase clarity" just doesn't work for me - I'm not that used to ordering people around. :c
But since I keep my glasses in my pocket in real life, I figured in a LD I could just reach inside my pocket and put them on.

Wow nice, 99% to real life, that must of been amazing, I have yet to experience that, or even fly yet. I believe my best lucid dream that I have recorded(only 3 recorded) was probably 60% to real life. Keep up the good work.

Congrats on the awesome lucid! =D

Some ideas for getting rid of clouds:
      - Summon a gust of wind to blow them away
      - Look down, imagine that there are no clouds above you, then look up again
      - Fly above all the clouds
      - Anything else you can think of ^^

But they were really thick clouds. Like virtually the whole sky was clouds... not a single patch of blue. They were so thick they were almost solid.

Well, if you didn't think you could have gotten rid of them, then you couldn't have. Controlling your dreams isn't really about whether you use psychic powers or flamethrowers or gusts of wind; as long as you're confident that whatever you're trying to do will work, it will.

Urm, no. I doubt it, at least. :\
AP is almost always completely different from a lucid dream, and it would be obvious the the person that was 'projecting' that it wasn't a dream.

Other than that, we're getting off-topic. Congrats on the lucid dream, Guinevere
