I woke up this morning around 5am, and laid there for maybe 2 hours trying to sleep. I finally decided to take a little bit of melatonin, which usually gives me the extra boost I need to get to sleep. However, I try to avoid doing that as much as possible, because usually I end up with dreams that seem "heavy".
Anyway, when I went to sleep I started to have lucid dreams. I remember that I was in my home, near the bathroom sink. I turned the faucet on and it sounded really weird, like there was some kind of audio processing special effect on it.
Then, to test things out, I said aloud in my dream something to the effect of "Whoa, this is messed up! What's going on?". My voice sounded like it was coming out of a tin can! It just sounded so odd. I'm standing there in my dream, fully lucid, trying to figure out why in the world I would be hearing the sound this way. I kept doing various things to make noise so I could listen and see if the sound changed, but the effect kept going. It was boggling my mind trying to figure out what would cause that.
Anyways, after that I had more typical lucid dreams, like flying, making my fingers stretch out, and asking DC's questions which are impossible to answer . I also had that recurring one where I can't get out of bed!
Does anyone else know about this type of tin can sound in lucid dreams? To me it was beyond bizarre.
