A common thing that happens to me in my dreams is the mixing of people. There will be a dream character there that is someone I know but it looks nothing like them. For example, in the first non-lucid I flew in my father was there but he looked like Denzel Washington. I've also experienced the mixing of settings too, like, for another example, when I was in the sixth grade I would always dream about a street in my town that merged with a street near my dads house that is over 1000 miles away.
