      Always near the end?

Does LD always occur near the end of a dream? Its always too little too late for me. By the time I start an LD its always the last few minutes of a normal dream.

Most of the dreams you remember occur while you have a REM-period. The best LDs I have happen in the deep of the night, just in the beginning of the REM-period. Yet, easier to get lucid are the times near the morning, but the sleep is very fragile then.

It just depends in what stage you become lucid. I think you have a greater chance, the more you are concious i.e light sleep.
Jujutsu is the gentle art. It's the art where a small man is going to prove to you, no matter how strong you are, no matter how mad you get, that you're going to have to accept defeat. That's what jujutsu is.

With DILD/MILD, it just depends on how long it takes you to realize you are dreaming. It can happen any time during the dream. With a WILD technique, you are lucid as you enter the dream, and usually maintain lucidity throughout the entire dream. If you become lucid and you it only lasts for a little while, you can always DEILD (which is a WILD technique) and have another lucid right after that one. Here is the tutorial for DEILD: http://dreamviews.com/community/showthread.php?t=62769 Good Luck to you!
