      LD and vitamins/supplements

Ive had two lucid dream experiences last weak. Both when i went to bed and hour or so after eating an omega 3/b vitamin supplement. Both where kinda strange as i just went to bed as normal, but thinking about LDs. I fell asleep slowly and kinda but got aware after half an hour or so. This was in a "grey area" erea where i think i was i SP but not dreaming. I realized what was going on and just "went with it" buzzing sound and i started to lucid dream.
Ive read somewhere that LDs right after going to bed is quite rare(as ive read normally u wake up and go back to bed early in the morning or something). So im thinking maybe it had something with my supplement. Sry about bad grammar/english. Plz reply someone

supplements may helped but they are not necessary. I had an LD today and yesterday also without supplements and both were very vivid
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
      TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!

I take a b complex vitamin and I suspect it helps me with recall -- but I have to take it in the morning or it keeps me up.

WBTB's I find are pretty common in our community. That's actually how I got most of my lucids but everytime I used a supplement, I only got increased vividness but that can be improved without it like what yuriythebest said.

You don't really dream in SP, but you can get dream-like hallucinations and is an open door to dream land which is apparently what you did. I'm not sure what exactly you call that state where you are in limbo but I would just go with Hypnagogia.

We have a sub-form for supplements called "Lucid Aids" under the Attaining Lucidity section. Feel free to check it out sometime: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=44 That's where I would venture to if I were to have any questions about taking aids.

I also highly recommend this supplement guide: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=56235

      Good luck

B6-Complex will make you have really vivid dream if taking at the right time and with proper meals, but when you have enough experiences you don't need any supplements.

but then again i dont have too much experience, huh.
I actually ate alot of peanuts last week aswell, and ive read that that may have something to do with it. I do like the purist approach tough, dont like eating things i shouldnt, but then again vitamins cant be too bad.

LDs right after going to bed aren't rare. I think you might be referring to WILDs. WILDs are hard to to before sleeping at all. Though, some people can do it.

I take Vitamin B6 and I have very vivid dreams. I highly recommend taking vitamins with B6 in it.

No not at all, vitamins are always good and also vitamin B should never be taking before bed time because most likely it will keep you up as it give you plenty of energy. But you should go to the tutorial section http://dreamviews.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=25 for more info and on how to become Lucid.

      Good Luck

Back when I was into taking a lot of supplements for working out, I remember one supplement in particular that gave me VERY vivid dreams. It's called ZMA. It just contains Zinc Monomethionine Aspartate, Magnesium Aspartate, and Vitamin B6. It was probably the b6, but WOW. I had some of the CRAZIEST dreams ever.
