      Arrow 3 things...

      1. Hyper LDs? I just had a LD that was as vivid as real life, I couldn't move, but I could think, see, hear, feel, taste, and smell like in real life. Is it rare/common/normal to have LDs like that?

      2. Falling asleep? (Bad pun) I DEILDed today, And as I slipped into the dream it felt like I was tilted back, And than falling backwards. I felt this when falling asleep, falling asleep in a dream, and waking up. Anybody else?

      3. My real point. Lets talk dream guides. There is a DC who I think might be my dream guide. I don't know her name, or what she looks like, so I call her Girl. She's basically made me lucid dream. She got me started, she got me lucid, and I truly care about her. I feel connected with her like a real person, not just a DC. Is it weird to feel like that about a DG? And who/what is your DG? I would really like to know what you think, and what your views on dream guides are.

Well that was poorly written. But you get the idea.

Yeah, those are the really good LDs. Maximum clarity with the presence of all senses. Those are the LDs that all LDers strive to achieve. They are more common for experienced LDers, but everyone gets them eventually. Congrats on your success! Now all you have to do is work on that control .

I have definately felt this falling sensation while falling asleep. I ended up entering a dream where I was falling down a large mine shaft. It seems to happen from time to time.

Eh, its not weird unless you think it is. Some would argue that the girl is actually a real person (a dreamer) rather than a random DC. For many dream sharers, that connection you feel with her indicates she is an actual persons dream self (not sure if you believe in that kind of stuff). Who or what your DG is, is basically up to you. It is generally someone who helps you become lucid or helps you with lucid activities. The dreamer decides upon their DG, so if you want her to be your DG, then she can be. My DGs are Merlin (a tall wizard I met in my first lucid, he took me to a lucid dreamers cookout, lol) and Seine (my friend/pet lunar wolf that takes me places, usually the moon). Dream Guides can be pretty useful. They can often help you perform tasks that you have trouble with, or take you places that you normally struggle to get to. Some don't believe in DGs and they don't have them. I believe that they exist, if you believe they exist. Make sense? lol. Hope I helped out a bit.

I get dream-guided LD fairly infrequently, but they have happened. I think it's the same entity (for the lack of a better word) that is my spirit guide (if you believe in that stuff). I never see her, I always just hear her, but she usually gets me to explore different things. I'd almost believe it was just a dream, but... my only key to determining an LD to a normal dream (until I joined these forums) was the fact that when I'm LD-ing, I think a lot. Like my inner voice and it's logical critical thinking coming from me, just as if I were sitting here at my computer thinking about how to word this post.

I have a pretty awesome dream recall (I've been keeping a dream journal for years), and I just know my dreams well enough that I don't think like that when I'm regular old dreaming. I can't hear my inner voice, I'm just watching the plot in first person and doing what it wants me to.

Once I realise I'm lucid, I always start thinking things to myself, like if I want to remain in my dream plot, but I became lucid because something wasn't working right, I'll take control long enough to sort the issue out (ex. I have super powers, but they aren't triggering, like I'm supposed to go invisible but I still appear solid. I'll become lucid and try to work with my brain to see me go transparent).

In these dreams with my dream guide, there is never a plot, it's like I'm plunked down in the middle of her lesson with me. I'm always able to think for myself, move with logic and talk with her about what she's showing me. I don't ever see her, but I hear her.
