What did you dream about last night?

Okay, I know you all (or most all) have a dream journal on the site, but they're a bit...difficult to access. And rather dull at times. And all sorts of whatnot. So, post the most exciting thing that you dreamed about last night (if you didn't have any really cool dreams, don't post please) lucid or not. Copy and paste it from your dream journal if you want, but please don't link to the whole DJ 'cuz most of us don't want to sort through the whole thing. HIGHLIGHTS ONLY! Anyway. I'm pretty sure there have been a few threads like this before, but they're all dead and gone, so let's just start anew. Okay, here's mine: I actually had this a day ago, but whatever. Me and three friends had stumbled upon some artifacts, and after searching the area, we found a cave nearby that led into some old ruins. Really cool stuff. Anyway, we all rappelled in and lowered some equipment in, and then started exploring the area. Eventually we got to a stone door we couldn't open, so I was going to blast it open. I strapped some C4 to it and was running away, but the primer cap went off to soon and I blasted myself to smithereens, but I didn't die! I was just flying, with all sorts of fire and pieces of stone flowing around me. Then things got really trippy, 'cuz it didn't end...I just kept flying through the air on fire! It was way cool. Now it's all you people's turn. Just write a quick experience and let the next person go. Try not to weigh it down with too much introductory stuff (I probably didn't do so well in that department), but it doesn't matter too much if you go on for a few paragraphs. Just make it under three total and nobody should care. Sound good?

I went on a trek through a snow blizzard in a post-apocalyptic landscape, with a small Chinese child as a guide. The child froze to death, but then came back to life when I started crying. When took me to my final destination, it told me it was a robot, and that the whole dream was a test to see whether I was compassionate enough to be allowed to live.

I was in Disneyworld riding Splash Mountain (but it looked nothing like the real splash mountain) with some friends, but right when it was our turn it broke. Then I went to the gift shop/cafeteria, but I had no money so I tried borrowing some. Nobody let me, because I owed them all money.

well, last night seemed to stray (a LOT) from my usual theme. I was at some kind of ball. Everything was pink (prbably because of valentines day) and i was in a light purple kimono (i don't know why i remember details like this) and i was bored out of my mind... normally i wait this stuff out to see what happens next because something almost always gets i9nteresting. But when it didn't, i decided to go do whatever i wanted to do. So i ditched and ended up in some weird version of my real life house. I can't remember much about it now, to tell the truth (didn't write it down) ]But i remember before i woke up, i went back to see what was happening with the ball. it was as busy as it was before, so i went to a different room. This one girl was bugging me for a while (blue hair...) so i finally walked away from her and into another room. (Looked like a sitting room in a castle) and this one guy comes in. So we stand there for a while... and then i tell him that he doesn't look good in that tux (well, it WAS true. besides, in something so boring,l it gets so much more fun when you get someone ticked. and from experience i have had with this guy, i knew i was able to get him angry when i tried) but what really got me was, then he kissed me. I don't know if anyone here has ever kissed a dream character, so i'll tell you. It's W_E_I_R_D. I woke up and was confused for at least two hours So, that was last night's dream. There was some kind of a shapeshifting man-eating monster that escaped from an asylum and took the shape of a girl, that came to me and to my family. The rest of the dream was trying to find a way to destroy it, avoiding it, and trying to negotiate so it would not eat me (seems like it had some other goal in mind though... a manipulative monster, it was). Toward the end of the dream I simply confronted it head on and beat the shit out of it with my bare hands. Even when I'm not lucid, I can often instinctively feel that I am "unique" or all-powerful in my dreams.

Yellow Solar Seed - Wednesday 16th February 2005 I'm saved I had a dream that the entire of earth was going to be killed. I was with a select few who would be behind a shield that would prevent us from being killed. I remember talking to some people and then there was possibly a moment of panic to put the shield up. The danger, whatever it was, appeared to have killed everyone almost instantly. Suddenly, It started snowing outdoors. I asked my father how long the snow would go on for, and he said two years. I had the feeling that it would be impossible to go outside during those two years.

you know, wicked, i can relate to that. Most of my dreams have something to do with fighting, and i do get the vibe that i have tons of power in my dreams. (probably because you have control and can do whatever you want.) and (i can tell a story because my dreams are mostly extended over nights.) what happened later on. Well, i found out what the party was really for. I was called up onto a stage with a podium (which seemingly appeared out of nowhere) with the guy who had kissed me earlier (O.0 still think that was strange) and in front of a ton of people, it was announ ced we were supposed to go on a mission that went through different worlds. We have one day to say goodbye to everyone and gather belongings before we start a small training session, then begin this mission. (never was brought to my attention before this,judging from the facial expression, neither had the guy next to me) So when that was over (keep in mind, i had no say in this) i wondered who i had to say goodbye to. The blue haired girl who had been bugging me came up to me again. Well this time it wasn't exactly bugging... talking and i wasn't in the mood to be talked to is more like it. She told me about some of the poeple i might want to say goodbye to. But she told me not to try egtting in touch with my old partner because he was too busy with his normal work. That's when i realized i recognized her, although i didn't tell her i know her because she's a character on an anime show (although with searching i can about half the time, find these "partners" of mine are anime characters from shows (sometimes not even ones i watch) I wonder what will happen tonight since it sounds like a night off from the normal storyline i stick to. Maybe i'll work one that monthly challenge. or maybe i'll try summoning my dream guide...

i havent been having good recall lately, but last night i do recall seeing a horse in an apartment that i was in. i dont ever recall ever dreaming about horses, ever. and now today ive been encountering a lot of synchronicity.

Non-lucid. Performed a brain transplant on my son. Had to shock his head with the defibrillation machine to get it working. Problem was, when I was done, his IQ was significantly lower. I felt bad for doing it.

lol, Seeker that's awesome! Well, I mean, it'd suck if you maimed your son's mind, but that's hilarious! Anyway. I've had this dream every once in a while for the last ten years. It only happens once every two or three years though, so it's not enough to call a dream sign. I'm hanging out somewhere around my hometown (Last night it was my backyard) with someone very important to me (a girlfriend usually, as in this case) and a few friends when an air attack siren goes off. Suddenly I'm able to slow time, and I see two WWII bomber planes on the horizon (not going anywhere because I've stopped time) and I know they're going to nuke me. Because there'd been bomb threats lately, we had a bomb shelter at my house, but I couldn't stop time long enough to take more than two people into the shelter before they drop the nuke, and they won't have enough time to make it if time isn't slowed/stopped. I've went lucid once during this kind of dream and saved all my friends and destroyed the planes, but only once. This time I grabbed my girlfriend and left everybody else and was running back to get one person when the nuke hit, so I was running back to the shelter door in slow-mo with this huge dome cloud behind me...Really cool. Too bad everybody got fried. But hey, I've got some 100 years of exile in a nuclear haulocaust with a hot girl. I'm not complaining!

my dreams fropm the last few days were puzzling. It was supposedly training, but i don't get it. i just ended up going to a bunch of different places. It was fun though. Although i still don't get the ultra dangerous hike i took, or the guy who was carying a fire breathing dinosaur in a cage everywhere.
