      When Semi-Lucid DC's Make You Un-Lucid

      Is it just with me or is it that when I consider I might be dreaming, a DC distracts me from becoming lucid. This doesn't happen to me when i'm fully lucid though.

      Oh yeah, this is super common. Sometimes it seems like your mind does all it can to keep you from becoming/staying lucid, lol. Just have to make sure you are ready to perform some RCs when in doubt. RCs can save your lucids!

      Lately my DCs have actually been helping me become lucid. It's odd because before they seemed to hate it quite a bit. Although, they really only hated it when I used powers. That Non-Lucid Raptor incident is a prime example of why. . .

      I had a DC who started shouting at me telling me "YOU ARE NOT LUCID" and insisting I wasn't in a dream. It then started injecting me with things to try and stop me from dreaming and using lucid powers. You can read about it here.

      WakingNomad says it could have been an entity, if you believe in that kind of thing. Who knows? Although it didn't stop me from being lucid thankfully.
