Trying to get my hands on a second hand NovaDreamer

This may not be the best place to ask but I thought I may as well as I've been here for quite awhile.

I'm trying to get my hands on a NovaDreamer induction device but as I'm a student my funds are kinda low and currently I couldn't shell out for the normal 200 + dollar asking price. It's a long shot but would there be any users here that could sell me one second hand? Like I said, it's a long shot but I thought I'd ask.

      Thanks everyone!

Perhaps you read that he's just a student, and doesn't have enough money to buy it?

Don't waste your money on one of these. Most people's eyes aren't even sensitive enough to detect the flashes during dreams. If anything, it would probably even wake you up during REM. Just my suggestion.

Yah, I've read both good and bad reviews of it but it's something I'd love to try for myself if someone approached me with a reasonable price. Anyway, if there's anyone out there who has one post here or pm me I guess.

"Lucid Aids" is most appropriate..but I don't think anyone minds.

TheAnonymity, Unless you've tried one of these devices, I suggest you not knock it.

It's worth mentioning, I had a REMdreamer (A polish NovaDreamer knockoff that works quite well) that helped me get lucid, and though I didn't use it for nearly long enough to do full-blown experimentation, I learned to RC whenever I saw a bright red flash.

I look forward to getting the new model within a few more days, much more customization, as well as a new feature known as TWC, "Two Way communication"..a setting on the device where once you become lucid due to the bright lights, you move your eyes in a particular fashion, and it will stop cuing you, in order to prevent what TheAnonymity mentioned, it waking you up.

I would be willing to send you my old REMdreamer circuitboard, free, the problem is, I lack the instruction manual and the mask itself. So you'd only get in the mail a bare board and would have to do some painstaking research to try and find a REMdreamer instruction manual, and fashion a somewhat comfortable mask to slip the device into. In other words you'd have to be super patient, use trial and error, and try to find a reference for what the different switches mean and what settings they control. I'll continue to look for the other bits of the Old device, but I doubt I'll find them.

How electronic-savvy, handy, and patient are you?

      Hey Bro,

I'm quite a patient person and would happily accept your offer. But please let me send some money via mail to cover the postage on this. I'd feel bad for you going out of your way for me.

      Thank you
