      I can't control my lucids!!!!

Almost every lucid dream I have is a fake lucid. A DREAM of a lucid dream, not an actual lucid dream.

But I had one last night that was particularly vivid. I realized that I was dreaming, but I also though that I had gone to sleep in my dream world. I jumped up, and floated back down. But try as I might, I couldn't fly! I've RARELY EVER had any problems with flying in my dreams. Then I tried some other stuff, but I just sat there. Bound by the laws of physics.

Is it because it's only a dream of a lucid dream? Or is something wrong with me?

You must not have had confidence that you could fly 100% with no problems. You must have thought that you were were bound down to real world rules. Next time just know that you can fly... there are no questions about it.

I was about as confident as usual. I had no doubts!

Having no conscious doubts counts for nothing. Only if your sub conscious has no doubts will it be fine.

What may happen is that you can consciously say "I believe", but your sub conscious is still saying "yeah right, as if". And it all really comes down to the sub conscious with these things.

That is normal. The more vivid my lucid dream is the more it becomes like real life and I am unable to use powers. For me it is all about an energy I feel and not so much believing or not believing.

Yup, that's normal. Try rationalizing it somehow. Try getting a jetpack or taking a random pill taken out of your pocket. Get an Iron Man suit or shoot energy from your hands and feet. Try jumping higher and higher, until you can fly. Levitate upwards. Manipulate gravity. "Push" against the ground using your telekinetic powers. Whatever. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of ways of flying. Find one that works for you.

a lucid dream is where you realize you are dreaming while in a dream. so youre dreams are lucid, you just have a problem with control. you need to believe with all your heart that absolutely anything is possible. forget everything you know about the laws of this world. free youre mind. if you want to fly, except the fact that there in no such thing as gravity in the dream world and take off!
Law abiding citizen by day, breaking the laws of reality by night.

I understand what Noog is referring to. I used to have normal dreams about lucid dreaming all the time. In my dream I would even be telling DCs that I was in a dream and that this is lucid dreaming, but I would not actually be lucid or have any true awareness, it would play out just like a normal dream.

I've had a couple of these. It's like where things don't quite "click." They happen, and thanks to the stupid logic centers (or rather lack thereof in dreams), even talking about being lucid doesn't guarantee the actual act of gaining lucidity. Happens all the time.

Not quite the problem right now, but still funny.

Increased awareness would be your best shot. It may indicate a passive/accepting attitude toward the world. Question the very fabric of reality constantly.

That is rather...I think the word you used was "ambiguous"

      Could you elaborate?

Instead of passively accepting the world around you, question it. Constantly question if you're in a dream or not. Imagine yourself to be in a dream from time to time. Scrutinize every last detail. RC when even the smallest thing seems out of place. You know...awareness.
