      Fake WILDs

Lately I've been experiencing what I'm considering to be "fake" WILDs: Where you're already asleep, decide to WILD, and go through the experience you perceive to be Sleep Paralysis. For me, this means my surroundings are dark and shaky, full of vibrations, usually a ringing sound in my ears. When I open my eyes, I'm in a new dream. The fake WILD starts out in a bed - sometimes it's the one from my childhood, other times it's my current bed, but I may be sleeping on the opposite side.

I've experienced this often in the last few weeks, and a few times in the past couple of years that I can remember. I don't think I've ever achieved a "real" WILD, just than the pseudo-form I just wrote about. They're transitional phases for me where I switch dreams. Last night some DCs were in my bedroom and told me to go back to my previous dream and I pseudo-WILDed back.

Has anyone else ever gone through anything like this in your dream world?

Like your having a false awaking and you go through the process of WILD?
I have done this a number of times. I am just grateful that I end up with a Lucid Dream aha.

I fell asleep in my dream only once. It always amazes me how when I wake up from the dream within the dream, I am in the place I fell asleep while asleep.

      Confusing..
