Doable, but i'm looking for something original. Maybe something cause, you've seen the "LDing is an occult" thread, right?

I think it's a great idea! Don't think we'll ever see it discussed though in mainstream educational courses though :/

I believe the main cause of this would be religion.

Religion controls ALL. If this class appeared in school...kids would tell their parents...parents would think its the devils work...parents contact schoolboard...schoolboard would shut it down.

      It's truely a shame though...I would join

Agreed, i support the idea. I had never heard about it before some friend told me, and then, i thought that my friend had gone completely insane. Whenever i tell someone about LDing, they also think im insane :]

One problem gais. Let's say it goes into schools are a normal class. How are you going to rate it if there's no proof to what happened?

If somebody does start a lucid dreaming club or class, i think it would be important to have an offered discussion before the class was actually started. Making sure to advertise your club as something scientific rather than spiritual or mystical. If you're trying to get the word out about the club, i think you should get rid of any mystical or crazy misconceptions about from the start. That way you could possibly gain more members and more specifically, have a better chance of avoiding the scenario that Jeff is talking about.
