      false awakenings

how many people have gotten more than one in a dream? I think one time I got three, and throughout the whole dream I never realized I was dreaming.

I get lots of false Awakenings. I can get loops of them. I will become lucid, then have a false awakening, then realise it is a dream go to do something and have another false awakening. This can just go on and on. It can be really annoying.

      Peace Sensi.

Got them this morning, something like a mere hour ago! Twice (I woke up, woke up again, and finally REALLY woke up).

      They're fairly rare for me.

I remember one night where I had several in a row. I thought I heard a rap on the window or something to indicate that someone was perhaps breaking into the house. I got up and started walking through the house (it was my parent's house, even though when I first heard the noise and got up I had been in my own bedroom at my house). Suddenly I was back in bed, thinking "that was just a dream", and then I heard the noise again, and got up again. Lather, rinse, repeat.

The third time I went down to my parents' bedroom to wake them up, to let them know something was going on, but discovered I couldn't speak above a whisper. This was like a dream sign to me, since I had the same voice-loss during nightmares as a child, and I became lucid, then suddenly woke up for real.

Happens to me a lot. Last week I had about 7 in a row. It was really frustrating. I kept waking up in my bed and then getting up to go outside the house to start my LD adventure. Each time it was dark outside and I had trouble trying to make it light. This seemed to make me "wake up" (actually FA). After a while I got pissed and just forced myself awake (with some SP)

Djv - that is just what happens to me, although i do not have the dark thing. Usually i get to my front door open it and try to go and i have another false awakening, just over and over. It is really annoying. Yeah i just wake myself up when i'm sick of it too. What is up with that? I Dont know if that happens to most people or its just random?
