How do you change the Point of View?

hey everyone, this is my first post ! anyways, i was wondering... although i have yet to have my first LD all my dreams are in 3rd person point of view (PoV). so say i achieve lucidity in a dream i end up getting stuck on a 3rd person PoV, is there anyway i can change it to 1st person PoV? IMO it would be very annoying/fustrating to not experience flying in your own eyes/body, but rather watch yourself do it from a distance, like a movie. so how do you shift PoV?

Simplest answer is "Will it." As in simply conjure up the will to force yourself into a first person perspective. But this isn't always easy.

So some people come up with tricks to force them into certain situations. Example, use a camera and imagine that by looking through it the scene will switch to the first person perspective to show you what the camera is seeing. Then simply hold onto this position.

Yup, what ExoByte said. I've changed perspective by willing it, but what happened was I was looking at a rabbit and wanted control of the lucid dream. Well, I guess my subconscious figured that since the only other living thing in my vision was the rabbit, that must be the key to control, so I possessed the jackrabbit and started running like him.

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.

That's really interesting, because my mums dreams are always in third person POV, too. I didn't know if she was being serious or not, because I've never actually experienced this...
      Interesting.
