The short answer--yes.
A close friend of mine is a very talented lucid dreamer who had a long history of anxiety problems. When she told her therapist about her lucid dreams, it was suggested that she use affirmations within her dreams to help her anxiety.
She told me that the key was positive affirmation. That is, something like "I will be anxiety free today" rather than "I will not have anxiety today." The first time she did this, she had no anxiety the whole day. The next time, she said "I will be anxiety free all week." This worked for her as well. To make a long story short, her anxiety problems are pretty much a thing of the past now. The mind is an amazing thing.
