Yes. What I suggest is to take martial arts, something very practical like Jiu Jitsu, and then fight people using that in a dream. |

I think WakingNomad said the most importan things. You can indeed practise martial arts or fighting in any way during the dream, but you must have logical and realistic fighting conditions. |

I'm not the signature, I'm just cleaning here.
i take martial arts, but i have never had a lucid dream in which i fought someone, but have had non lucid dreams of fighting people, not sure if you can learn how to fight better, maybe learn to be more aware, but as far as techniques it would be hard to remember and to digest, even if you have complete control over your dream.. Who knows i can be wrong.. maybe i should try it out.. i have had dreams though thats martial arts related.. for instance i had a dream that i was in a buddhist monk monastery type of place being taught how to levitate, we would stand in horse stance (martial arts stance) and meditate strenously, the more we concentrated and stay centered the higher we would go, this dream seems to represent me getting in touch with my spiritual side perhaps.. but i wouldnt doubt it. I've read about people performing better from practing whatever they are doing in their lucid dream, for instance a guy having trouble on his tennis serve decides to lucid dream and he practiced serving when he woke up and competed that day he noticed a significant difference in his serve and ended up winning that day... and another example- a guy having trouble on a math problem had a lucid dream and began to write out the problem and ended up finding the answer and he wrote it down when he woke up.. theirs alot of things dreams can help us with, so i wouldnt doubt it. |
