And the worst that could happen? I worry that something will be there, alive, running at me or god forbid touching me. If just a rose frightened me that badly I worry what my reaction would be to something worse.[/b]
I guess there's not much I can do for you, especially since you're worried about what might happen. Think about it logically, these dreams, although realistic are still just dreams. Here we teach you to control your dreams, so there you have the only thing you need to stop whats going on.

You can fight back, reason or anything you need to do.

What's so bad about the experience? I didn't have any control over my emotions. Sure lucid dreaming will give me control over my environment, but will it keep me from being scared half to death?
Nope. However, if you want to become a lucid dreamer you have to just do your best and try. You'll find it hard to do anything in a lucid dream if you don't believe in yourself and your abilities.

Like you believe that you coldn't stand up to this thing if you encountered it again, if you believe you can't fly or can't change the flow of time or anything, then you wont be able to.
