      Was this dream Lucid?

Ok guys I really don't know what to make up of this. But I find this really freaky. This morning around 10:00 AM I got out of bed. My mom was heading out the door to go to the store. I said. Hey mom where are you going? She said to the store. I said. Could you pick me up a bottle of water when you go? She said well see. So she left the house. I went to look out side the window in the kitchen, When I did I saw all of my neighbors cars in their drive ways flipped up side down!!! I almost had a panic attack when this happened. But I calmed my self down and I told my self "I'm dreaming I'm dreaming, calm down". I figured out I was dreaming when I decided to do a reality check with my hands, My hands were normal. When I looked out side. All the cars were flipped over. I felt like I was in control of my dream for a few minutes. Then I woke up. Was this a Lucid dream? Could the panic thing have something to cause the dream from waking me up? I would appreciate it if anyone could answer this! I remember waking up with a headache after this freaky experience.

Well, by definition it was a lucid dream because you were aware of the fact that you were dreaming and currently in a dream. So yeah, I'd consider that a lucid dream.

Well panic has a lot to do with waking up in some cases. Strong emotions, good or bad can indeed wake you up. I've had sad dreams and scary dreams that would wake me up from the emotions. So being afraid or alarmed would do that. Does sound like a lucid though, I'd sh!t bricks if I ever saw that haha it's a little funny.
