      Explosive Jerking.

      The other day I was reading and reading about NDEs constantly and as I went to sleep I tried to stay awake a bit because I was freeked out that I was gona have one or was gona dream about one. So anyway, I was seeing all kinds a patterns and junk floatin through ma eyes right? All of a sudden, an explosive shower of these little tiny fuzzy orange pattern type things shoots out at me, and I feel my whole body getting jerked back. This startles the crap out of me and I am like WTF!!!

      So what was this?

      I've experienced that same sensation many times before. It usually happens when I'm experiencing hypnagogic imagery, and I fall, trip, or somehow hurt myself. It feels like I've just fallen onto my bed from at least a foot up. Not uncommon for most people, from what I understand.

      It wasn't just a sensation, I really did move, my whole body jerked back. I become 100% alert, startled the crap at of myself and that, "HOLY SHIT! WTF!!!!" and then I was scared to go back to sleep cause I thaught I almost got pulled out of my body lol.

      That happens a lot when I fall asleep in school. I wake up with a start and kick my table, or hit my head on the computer monitor; people start looking over and are like, "WTF!? are you okay man?"

      Scruffy !!! that happens to me all the time , im ny dream i trip and i wake up with a jerk like if i just did trip .... it startles me and then i go " oh " and go back to bed

      its cool but weird ...

      Funny thing, I did that jerk thing in the tanning bed yesterday as I drifted off to sleep. Falling asleep in a tanning bed is a really weird feeling too.
