Dont smoke weed! Broke dry spell!

Yay finally stopped smoking pot 2 nights ago and got lucid last night. For the last month or so I have barely remembered dreams at all and havnt had a lucid in ages! Now after 2 nights without iv already become lucid. Im realy happy and keen to stay off the stuff now.

I know some people can smoke and still remember dreams and have lucids but for the majority of people out there if your smoking any weed and not having any progress cut it for a week or 2 and see how you do.

Yay! Good Job. Now complete your task and my task of driving the Nissan Gt-R in your dream.
I have yet to drive a car in a dream, and I think I will have a blast when I do.

I smoke (not every day, more like weekends) and unless I go to sleep high that night, I usually don't have problems remembering dreams, at least any better than I usually do, which isn't extremely great. I'm taking a few weeks off smoking, so I'll let you know if my dream recall drastically improves.

Yea it is a tough choice haha but after getting lucid so soon after stopping is enough for me. Its just hard because iv been smoking a lot over the last few years and I think iv grown quite a strong addiction. Hopefully this is enough to get me off the stuff though

It's because weed suppresses REM sleep, so once the THC is out of your system, your body goes into REM rebound where you go through more of that cycle than usual to make up for what you missed out on. You get extra dreaming time and thus, a better chance of becoming lucid.

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.
