      cant properly lucid dream

I have a problem. Every time i have a lucid dream i wake up right away. I dont wake up because i lose focus, i wake up because i have a fear that if i move in my dream, i will move in RL.

I have had many lucids which have been great and lasted a few mins, but for the most part i force myself to wake up to make sure i am not sleepwalking.

Anybody have any suggestions to help with this??

You will most likely never move while dreaming, as your body is mostly paralyzed in sleep (sleep paralysis). Do you have a history of sleep walking? Even if so, I doubt a lucid dream could cause you to sleep walk.

      Hope this helps.

I now all about SP and get it pretty often. But what i described is more of a fear of sleep walking. I have done it a few times in my life but probably not once in the last 8 years. (im 22 now)

It may be because all my dreams are super vivid, i can recall at least 2-3 dreams every night, and when i am lucid it is more real than real. So maybe in a way i think since it seems so real i will be moving around in RL.

I dont know if that made since but that is the best i can describe it.

Your body is disconnected from your mind except for your eyes and breathing during REM sleep(where dreaming generally occurs), and thats why you dont wake up downtown every morning.
