I have to disagree with you Sesquipedalian Dreams. The whole purpose in writing down your dreams is to jot down the major facts to jog your memory in the morning. Then you can recall & write a more descriptive journal entry.
So sketching a rudamentary drawing I think would also work in this regard. In addition a good portion of dreams are interpreted visually. giving this perspective even more of a plus.
That is just my opion.
And opions are like rearends. Everyone has one & they all stink.
