      My subconscious slaps me in the face again.

      I've been trying to have a lucid dream for a while now, while I was trying to get to sleep paralysis to perform a WILD I accidentally fell into real sleep. The last thing I thought about before going to sleep was "I know I have to be somewhere at 6:30 today, so if I see anything otherwise I know I'm dreaming."
      The very first scene of my dream was me looking at the clock and realizing its 7:30 today and my parents are telling me we have to go somewhere thats not where I need to go. If I can't turn lucid even from this am I hopeless or something?

      No, your normal. Your brain isn't all there when dreaming, so you may not notice some stuff. Otherwise, I'd be lucid every zombie apocalypse, not just a few.

      lol! Talk about dream logic. But, if you have noticed it, the sensation of being so stupid and carefree is somewhat pleasant. Know what I'm talking about?
