Very humorous tale, abstraction Next time you should wake up earlier, so you can have a little extra time to remember/catalogue your dreams appropriately.
Actually.. I think it was just that I didn't get enough sleep and started falling back to sleep . When I wake up in the mornings... but I don't have school yet... I think my brain kinda tells itself "You're tired, so rest, but don't fall to sleep, becuase you have school." So if I remember correctly, basically what happens is a blink my eyes open for a second to check the clock and if time isn't imminent, I roll over lol.... Only when I'm like "HOLY CRUD!" do I realize I need to get up... then I explode out of bed and do the bare necessities. Brushing my teeth? I don't think so mister!
One of the best things about trying to lucid dream is that it actually motivates me to get a good amount of sleep. Throughout highschool I chose to enjoy life and learn/play as much as I could rather than sleep. I stayed up 'till 2AM playing Unreal Tournament on a school night one time just because I felt like it. I enjoyed reading articles and learning rather than sleeping... it was just a nuisance for me.
I am generally happier when I get more sleep though... When I get good sleep, sometimes my memory is partially photographic (my short term memory is good... so whereas my long term memory was shot because of sleep deprivation in highschool... I would always memorize everything 5 minutes before the test... and for a short while I sort of had photographic memory )
I don't have to get up until 9:20AM tomorrow, so I'll surely get plenty of sleep tonight.
