Well, I dream half the time in 3rd and first person. I much prefer 3rd person though. I like to see what Im actually doing. Usually I do dream in color, but there was this one time it was black and white, but was symbolism for death/destruction . I dream in english as well. Im brazilian, but dont know the language(can't speak it, but can understand some/most of it)

Planning to go to Brazil this year to learn it! Wooo

Edit:Oh yeah, I forgot to ask. What is your avatar. At first I thought it was two faces kissing, then two continents, then the northern lights/sky

My dreams are always really dark. I see in color, but not in vivid color. I hear sound, but it's not like the sound I hear in real life. It's wierd.

yea, mine are dark for the most part. i've only had one 3rd person dream and that was with the help of some mushrooms i always have color. sometimes i have sound, smell, touch, but no taste... yet. -- when i began back in november my dreams weren't very vivid, but i've been having a rash of super vivid dreams lately. maybe i just jinxed it... My regular dreams are always first persons, I dream in color also. My LD's Im able to switch from 1st to 3rd at will. all senses are there just like in waking life with the exception of hearing I can only hear things in my immediate surroundings everything else outside of that is more distorted, kinda muffled like.

My dreams used to be dark. At least whenever I am lucid it is not dark. The thing that is so great about lucid dreaming is that it is like virtual reality. That is if you can perfect it. With years of practice I think most people can.

In living color, baby! Most of the time, my dreams are very vivid, clear and crisp, much like the waking world. I always dream in first person. I have seen images of myself, but I'm always still someone or something, viewing things through my own eyes.

In my dreams, only certain aspects are colored. Anything unimportant is the scenery and usually two colors, white and another color that sets the mood and blurred. People, upclose objects, anything I'm focusing on will be colored and clearer. Like a coloring book, I only color things interesting to me.

Most speech is telepathic, rarely any background noise, and it goes like a movie. There are close-ups and zoomed out shots, to changes person constantly but only to tell story. If the person speaks a different language, usually arabic, they will speak it and I will reply to them the same as though I know they don't undertstand English.

Everything depends on the story with me and many times it is as though I am watching a movie. Storytelling is very important and keeping events moving is also. If I get bored with a dream, I usually go lucid automatically and try to change to make them more interesting and more unreal.

Like Lost soul I have HDTV with THX surround sound=)
Also the full gammet of touch taste smell and emotions.

Most of the time I am in first person but I can pull back by awareness and go to third person. It really comes in handy when your in a crowd looking for somone or in a battle with multiple enemies.

I do sometimes get what you described phantasy, I am there watching somone else... those are weird...

Sometimes mine are like a CARTOON, and boy is that weird
Sometimes I am not the same physical body in the dream.

And i do have alot of 3rd person dreams

But most of them are in vivid color, where my senses are boosted some times, but usually the sense of smell is left out, but that might be a good thing.

My dreams, even lucid ones, tend to be a bit lacking in color. Think of turning the "color" setting down on your TV (but not all the way down.)
