Lucid 1 hour after following asleep.

I am just curious about this. I know that LDs take place mostly during REM about 5 to 6 hours after you go to sleep. Last night was different from me. I have 2 or three short lucid dreams ( each of them more or less 2 or 3 minutes) just after 2 hours or less I went to bed. I waked up at 12.45 to go to the bathroom. Those dreams were separated from each other but the plot and the caracters were just the same.

Hi. Dreaming can occur in non REM sleep. Many times these dreams are less stable/shorter then dreams in REM sleep.

Also there is a possibily that your REM period kicks in earlier then most people's.

No two people snore fall asleep the same way. Sometimes the best chance for Lucid dreaming is near the morning hours just before we awake, but it is not limited to only there - at that point of sleep.
I have become lucid in a lot less time than 2 hours. Even more so (less time) when taking a nap.
