Ok sleep has two primary groups REM (R) and NON-REM (NR). NR sleep is when most of your deep sleep is done. This period can have dreams but not typicly. R sleep occurs after going through NR sleep for a while. The typical time for rem to start is after 5-6 hours of sleep. Setting an alarm then will help. It also is very helpful to have an organized sleep schedual. If you set the alarm for 5 bourse of sleep and it wakes you up durring s dream you know your in Rem sleep. |

If you are good at waking yourself up, you can try without an alarm. Set the goal of waking up after every dream to write it down. Jot down the times for all your dreams every night, and you should start to see a pattern. For example, I normally have extremely vivid dreams from 2:00 to 2:30, after going to bed at 11:00. |

You could look into getting a Zeo. That should be able to chart your REM states. Also the REM-Dreamer has a DreamAlarm feature that wakes you up when you go into REM. That could work too. |
|
Hmm... how would that work? By sensing when your eyes start moving back and forth and start and alarm when that happens? |
|
Yes, the REM-Dreamer has a sensor that can read rapid eye movements so it knows when you are dreaming. As a feature to help train yourself it has an alarm that can go off 3 minutes after you start dreaming. So you can wake up and know when you had started dreaming and also see if you incorporated the light-triggers into your dream. |

You should put a link of where to buy this wonderfull device. Would be awsome. |
