Thread: Reading into an LD??

There are so many topics I might have just overlooked it, but my last really vivid LD was done during an afternoon nap, where I "read" myself into a dream!

I had gotten very relaxed and just allowed images to flow into my mind as they came. A lot of these images were text. I just read in my head whatever came up, even if it made absolutely no sense (It seemed like I was reading detailed constructions on building a table or something lol).

As I read the text, I noticed that I felt more and more relaxed. As I continued reading, putting my focus strictly on that, I lost the sensation of my body and everything around me. Once that set in, I opened my eyes to find myself in a dimmer version of the room I was in with a dream character laying next to me!

If anyone else has done this or finds any success with it, let me know. I've only been able to do this during the afternoon so far. I tried it again another day and I ended up somewhere in between SP and a dream.

That's very interesting. Out of curiosity, what book where you reading?

Did you feel like you were actually seeing the text in front of you? I often hear voices or see little scenes. Sometimes I will see a face that keeps morphing into different people. I've never seen text. That is cool.

That's really cool, i want to try that. Would actually reading a book and then sleeping help?
