My current sleep cycle is:

6-8 hours of sleep monday, wednesday, and friday
12 hours of sleep tuesday, thursday, saturday, and sunday

As it is now on my 12 hour days I wake up a lot and remember like 5 dreams every time

I know you are supposed to go for a 90 minute difference between times, and have a little sleep dep, but if I have the ability to sleep 8 hours one day, then 12 hours the next
Why not go for it?
