Crossing the barrier of space and time.

      Blessed be fellow seekers.

I would like to share a wonder that has bought joy into my life.
Since a small child, spent listening to the wind in the trees and watching the Fay folk dance among the spring flowers. I became a very sensitive soul.

In the wind I could hear the voices of distant anscestors, and every rain drop sparkled with the magic of the unknown, calling to me.

Maybe some of you can understand, those who have not yet been poisioned by the darkness of science and capitalism pulling away the fabric of nature and her spirits. Those of you who can still see with all your eyes

I learnt that i could speak in dreams with animals.
That the very birds in the trees and my own beautiful Cats Willow and Spellbound.

To attune myself to their vibrations, I often use the power of Rose Quartz for its soft and subtle vibrations. Placing the Quartz in the basket of my feline companions and keeping a connected crystal under my very own pillow, has acted like a cosmic amplifier between our souls.

I would love to hear from others who too can communicate with our brothers and sisters of fur, feather fin and claw. Especially those of you who have used the magic of crystals to empower your connections.

      Love and Light

Well... my words aren't as flowery as yours, but communicating with our Animal Allies is something I do on a regular basis. I don't use crystals to do it, but I've heard that some prefer this method. Personally I Journey to seek the aid and advice of The Allies.

Can I just say that, science is not a bad thing?

And I have been interested in Animal Communication for awhile. I hope to be able to utilize the skill when I become a vet. I've read a lot of accounts of vets being unable to discover what was wrong with an animal and actually referring their client to an animal communicator. Hopefully, I'll be able to help the little critters by listening to them if I cannot find out what is wrong with them physically.

      ThirdEyeCrow,

If you don't mind my asking, do you know if/how someone can learn to communicate with animals. This is something that I've wanted to do for a while now, and I was wondering if it is a gift one is born with or a skill one can develop.

      Thanks,
      ~Kordan~

Question was not directed at me but I'll throw my two cents in.

From what I've read, it can be both something people are born with as well as a developed skill. Similar to any sort of psychic abilities. Children will often exhibit this ability but eventually abandon it as they learn and grow and discover that society doesn't usually accept such things as "imaginary friends" or being able to "talk to animals". As a kid who used to talk to every animal I came across, I can definitely sympathize with this.

But apparently anyone can learn animal communication. It's merely a form of telepathy, and is a skill that takes much time and practice but can be developed by anyone. Similar to lucid dreaming really. There are naturals, and there are people who learn the skill as they get older.

There are many many books on animal communication, I've read a few but none that I liked well enough to recommend. I suggest doing your own search and seeing what you can find, because there is tons of information out there. There are online workshops you can participate in as well (like an online university) to become certified in Animal Communication. And also there are lots of local places where you can take classes, which I understand to be the best, quickest, and most successful way to learn, since you are actually interacting with the animals in a learning environment. So try to find something in your area.

Since I've been studying and practicing animal communication, I have definitely had a lot of interesting experiences with animals. There's a stray cat that won't leave my doorstep, and my sister's dog wakes me up at night sometimes (we don't live together) to let me know that his mommy isn't home yet and he's getting very worried lol. I then usually text my sister and ask her when she is going to be home so I can let Louie know, and she wonders how I know she's not at home. It sounds ridiculous, and maybe it is, but I keep an open mind about it.

I've also had conversations with my 16 year old dog who let me know that he was very ready to pass on. I adore him so much and had been dreading his passing for a few years now as he became more blind and deaf. But it got to the point where he was just walking in circles and couldn't even enjoy his food anymore. I finally had to go to my parents, who were avoiding putting him down, and tell them that it was time and it had to be done. I've never seen him so relaxed as he was on that last visit to the vet's office.

Anyways, I'm not saying I believe in this stuff completely. I could be making it all up in my head because I WANT to believe. But I also regard myself as a relatively intelligent person and wouldn't stick with it if I didn't have some confidence that it was worthwhile.

edit: also be careful, there are a lot of scams out there and people who are obviously just trying to make a buck getting people to buy their books/seminars/cds etc. ...but you can usually spot a real AC amongst a bunch of fakes, similar to any psychics I guess (for example there's a woman in my area who does sessions and helps find lost pets for FREE, others will donate any fees to local animal shelters, etc.)

      Hi ThirdEyeCrow,

      A beautiful post...

I have been talking/communicating with my crystals regularly. They come to me in all sorts of ways.

They are given to me by strangers
      They leap into my hands
      I manifest them
I look into them to manifest things I want
I sleep on them and with them
I wear them and find them in all sorts of places
      they tell me secrets...

oh yes and lots of cats and sometimes dogs visit me regularly too,
and birds and other creatures of fur and sea and more...
and i will visit them, too
in so many ways do we connect!

      Warmly,
      beachgirl

A fun dream sharing experiment with your pets would be to teach your pet a trick in your dreams and see if they can perform it in RL afterwards.

The bond between a dog and it's owner has got to be more reliable than between two random people across the internet.

I wish I had a pet to practice this with. I've never read any actual accounts of dream sharing with pets, it's more like...the pet comes to them in the night, like a vision, or telepathy, or something. They aren't actually like dreaming together about chasing a ball around or something. So I don't know if you could teach a dog a trick in a dream. But it would be fun to try. But there is a lot about animal psychology that would suggest to me that a dog might not be interested in playing around with you in a dream. If they know you can communicate with them...they have ALOT to say, and you BETTER be ready to listen lol.

That's a good point... But still, you should be able to manipulate a dog's attention way easier than a person's.

Are you reading their body language, or literally talking to them in your head? I've alwways wondered if such thing is possible. I can shout, and scream, and rage inside my head hearing my voice, just for fun, and wonder if someone could hear me, so far i've not been able to hear another voice.

I also figured an animal wont be human like, their talking pattern would be "food....food.foood...fooooooood....huuuuungry.... .hungry....hungryhungry...feed me food hungry food feed me" etc. I know animals can learn things from a pattern if it's always on the same exact time, or you teach to sit or whatever. They are smart enough to learn, but figured they would talk like that. But of course the cat would be very worried, i am sure the cat is always worried and wondering the grownups will leave them forever everytime they leave the door, they don't really know better.

When one has limited understanding of another, it is easy to make that limitation the other's and not the one's.

All creatures have an Understanding of their roles and place in the Universe - except for Humans. We've forgotten what ours is.

By observing and learning from our Brothers and Sisters in this experience, we can begin to see the bigger picture and how we fit in.

I know my role, it's to live. Don't think about a direction that seems cool, but your direction in life. Let life lead you, not you lead life.

To be alive and live in the moments as we all do. It's better then being dead and being not alive. My live life is not your live life. You probably want live to mean enjoy all the little things or something.

Not really. Enjoyment is what happens when we "live" correctly. It is not an end of itself.

What I mean by "live" is that we make manifest the intentions of our Higher Selves in this experience.

I asked what you meant by "live" because it seemed that you were using it merely as a description of the physical function of a beating heart, sucking lungs, and electrified neuro-network. I suspect that you have more to you than that, and was hoping you'd share.

Also, your definition of "live" seems completely reactionary; "...let life lead you, not you lead life." seems to completely negate Intention. Without going into Relative Taoism, complete lack of Intention is nothing more than wandering through this existence as an observer on autopilot. Definitely not my definition of "living" in any context.

So, if you would like to continue the conversation, what is your definition of "live"?

What if you go through the trouble of finding the pet, then taking the time to teach it a trick and it just ends up not recalling the dream?

      LOL

Thirdeyecrow... You seem to have such nice energy... so poetic, tell us more about your own experiences on the subject... I myself, would be really interested in learning about it... I started studying veterinary, but I never finished my career.. But I am thinking of starting over, and this would be really awesome if I could learn it... Someone here said that every creature in this planet knows what their place is in the universe except for humans... It got a smile out of me cause I think the exact same... Along the way we forgot what really matters... Maybe that's why i like animals so much; their still so inocent and conected to mother earth, its inspiring... kinda gives me hope

I would hardly call science darkness, their are many blinded by what they think they know... but it is hardly a darkness.

P.S. Lately I've been reading my teachers minds ...
This was that cult, and the prisoners said it had always existed and always would exist, hidden in distant wastes and dark places all over the world until the time when the great priest Cthulhu, from his dark house in the mighty city of R'lyeh under the waters, should rise and bring the earth again beneath his sway.
