      Smoking Fingers...

So I was doing a meditation and I was pretty deep into it. I had charged my chakras and did some energy clearing exercises and then proceded to visualize myself on the moon mediating. After a few seconds of this I slipped into a lucid state which I am almost certain wasn't dream, could of been an obe but I doubt it didn't really feel like one. Anyways when in this state I looked down at my hands and my fingertips began to smoke profusely. After a second or two I snapped back to reality.

I was just wondering if anyone has seen there fingers smoke like that in any altered state of consciouness or if there is any meaning or it was just a product of a deep trance and random visualization?

That's awesome that you came to the moon. Sounds like your power was manifesting.

You were doing a meditation? Which one?

How deep is pretty deep? You started losing connection with your body? Or were floating on the roof?

Also what do you mean you charged your chakras?

If you could please, I would like to know where you learned your meditation technique, or what it consists of and how you charge your chakras.
Do not try and bend the dream. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realise the truth.
      There is no dream.
Then you'll see, that it is not the dream that bends, it is only yourself.

Yes it has been described by Robert Bruce in his book astral dynamics.

According to him this is a phenomenon of the energy body in what he calls the Real Time Zone, a dimension in between the astral worlds and the universe. Content of the universe is reflected into the realtimezone and there it can shapeshift as a dense, foggy energy.

function in real time only so long as there is enough energy flowing to it from its physical/etheric
body. This energy flow maintains its integrity and mental coherence on that dimensional level.
There is more than one variation and strength of real-time double possible. This is greatly
influenced by the quantity of energy flowing into it from the physical/etheric body, and by its
      energetically developed state.
A projector's real-time body parts will only become visible if that projector deliberately looks
for them. The hands are the easiest body parts to observe: They vary in appearance from fairly
normal to quite distorted, elongated, spectral, and ghostly. This variability in appearance is probably
related to energetic flow and the corresponding strength of a projection. In all cases, though, realtime
hands will begin melting away almost the moment they are observed, like white ice sculptures
      under a powerful blowtorch.
This goes a long way toward explaining how out of body shape-shifting works. Projectors can
deliberately alter their appearance by overriding their natural sense of whole-body self-awareness.
They simply feel themselves as having another shape and form, and concentrate on holding their
new sense of whole-body self-awareness firmly in mind at all times. Natural out-of-body creative
ability does the rest, and their shape is thus altered for as long as they can maintain awareness of
      their new sense of form.

I lost connection with my body and i was lucidly on the moon when I looked at my hands but the image of the moon was one I created with my own visualization.

Charging you chakras consists of just merely focusing on them and opening them, if you don't know what chakras are go to astraldynamics.com there's a section on there and it's an all around great enclyclopedia of out of body experiences.

My meditation technique is one I developed from many others and just an understanding of how it works is as follows:
Start by charging and opening all 7 chakras
Breathing into all of the parts of the body and consciously releasing the negative and restrictive energy within those body parts
The just listen to breathe and try to turn off your internal dialouge (hardest part I can only fully do it for maybe a minute or less)
Then visualize your self somewhere of signifigance to you or somewhere you'd like to go

      That's pretty much it

The way you described your fingers smoking is something I've heard from many OBE reports. They say if you look at your hands they will distort or melt or smoke or something like that.

never heard of this, though I have heard of something similar.

I was watching the History Channel and there was a documentary about Tibetan monks meditating, and the monks were meditating with only pants in negative degree weather (Ferenheit). with freezing cold wet cloths on their backs. The monks were able to heat their bodies and cause the cloths to smoke and the water evaporate, so that they stayed warm in the frigid temperature.

It was very interesting, was your meditation anything like this? were you attempting to warm yourself?
