Thread: Cleansing out/Warding off Bad Spirits?

I and close friends have had serveral encounters with evil spirits and posession and I personally know a few subtile and a few powerfull ways of spiritual cleansing/protection.

Still I would like to know more. SO any of you with practical knowledge, herbs or practices of how to cleanse of and protect against Bad Spirits, then let me know.

So far I know Cannabis, Ayahuasca, DMT, Psiloybin Mushrooms, Peyote/SanPedro, Yopo, Palo Santo incense, Chanting/Humming, Meditating uppon "Stillness" and "Now", Hot water steam/Sauna/Sweatlodge, Proper sleep, Proper food, Honey, Ginger, Moroccan SweetMint, Pepper and Garlic are all spiritually cleansing( Positively recharging, Negativity Discharging or both) to various degrees.

Any knowledge, herbs, practices that Recharge Positive energy and/or Discharge Negative energy (AKA cleansing out bad spirits)that you know of, post it here.

Burning sage or sweetgrass.. a.k.a. smudging
Clear quartz crystals, crystal clusters
Visualize surrounding yourself in protective white light

Protection during sleep.. sleep with piece of hematite under pillow.. I put hematite in all four corners of my room

I've heard the recommendation of putting a bowl of salt water next to your bed while sleeping, but have not tried it myself

Oneiromancy. Kicking the evil spirit's ass in the dream and astral planes.

I would say the best is utter complete conviction that you are all powerful and non posses-able fully safe and repelling of all evil/bad is a good tool.

Be careful though, sometimes drugs can open you up to these things even more.

I've allways been etremely open to spirits of all kinds. As long as I can remember and I only started doing "drugs" since I was 18. And never in an uncontrolled, irresponsible way, but in moderation and with pure and serious intentions.
I've been possessed by spirits, creative ones as well as destructive ones, many times. Unrelated to drugs I casn assure you.


Because I use them as such they bring light and love stronger than any demon could stand. The strongest healer I know is Ayahuasca, especially in community ceremonial setting.

can you explain to me some basic Oneiromancy practices for cleansing out bad spirits? I understand Lucid Dreaming is a powerfull cleansing tool, but I've been having quite a long dryspell now.

HA HA HA! That's my thoughts exactly!

Cannabis helped me get over my paranoia, and if one of the keys to keeping away dark spirits is not to be scared then all this shit's for the win.

The best way to protect yourself is with humility, morality, and caution. When you are making bad decisions and thinking arrogantly you are extremely susceptible to attack. When you are humble and wise you are no longer a target.

Also, if you happen to ending up using some kind of talisman or an amulet, and you feel it is "worn out spiritually" or infected in some kind, you can cleanse it in something like current water, or you can put it between your bare hands and the ground (dirt/earth), all you need to do is to visualize whatever "spiritual stain" is on your tool being swept away. That also works with anything else you may think of.

There are pretty much as many ways as you can imagine.

Well I was wondering, could you give us a clearer insight into what exactly a demon possession was like? Otherwise I can't tell if you're just talking about being in a bad mood, or sleepwalking. Too many people use night language these days.

Spirits that enter you, and gradually, stealthishly take control over your behaviour, thoughts and feelings. And tries to bring destruction uppon your life, sometimes even trying to kill you and have you commit suicide.

Taking over you to the point the Real you is only a passive observer, not in control of it's body and behaviour. It can be very dangerious.

I spoke about Bad Spirits because I figured people with similair experiences would know what I was speaking of. And I was looking for advice from people with such experiences.
