Ohey derpington! Great to see you keeping it up!

I hope you have some luck with your naps :3

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Thanks guys Last night I stayed awake long (reading :S) and got up early so unfortunately I did just recall some fragments of a dream. Also no luck with the naps Paige, I have a hard time to fall asleep at all

I recalled 3 dreams today one of them really long but none of them lucid.

I also tried a kind of WBTB, I tried to imagine how I would become lucid etc. a bit like Oreoboys Daydream technique maybe? Anyway I had a hard time to fall asleep again, it ended that I was to frustrated and got out of my bed turning on the PC checking old pictures until I wondered why I had so many pictures on my new PC even ones I couldn't recall where from I got them.. So yes a FA with me in the dream trying to fall asleep while imagining to become lucid lol actually I woke up a bit later (sadly), maybe I was close to becoming lucid

Btw I read something interesting an Article from 2009, the part of the brain which is responsible for the critical appraisal of events which is normally "asleep" when we dream, is actually not asleep when we get lucid. The "prefrontal cortex" gets activated again as soon as the lucid dreamer enters lucidity. So it actually wakes up again whereas other parts of the brain are still asleep.

But I guess I am just a slowpoke and that are old news for most of you, I just didn't knew it until today, I thought the part of the brain which is like the critical thinker would be asleep also in lucid dreams.

      Oh yea my August Goals:

-> Write something on a paper and let a DC read it out loud (I am excited to see if they read out loud something totally different, if they read out loud what I saw on the paper before I handed it to them (you know because letters often change or getting totall abstract in dreams) or if they actually read out loud what I wanted to write on it.)
-> Trying the basic task of the month
-> Summon a Lion that helped me out in some of my nightmares that I had as kid
