Congratulations, kamskun, I'm glad that you had the close brush with lucidity!
Now that you are getting more settled, hopefully you'll have the luxury of allowing your brain to play with the question of "Am I dreaming?" Even if you don't RC, just have that question circulating through your mind as often as you can.
You will dream every single night for nearly two hours. Those moments will seem incredibly lifelike, particularly when you are in the moment and your brain is in the dream state. Now how do you know for sure that you're not dreaming right now?
Cultivate that attitude of critical questioning throughout the day. Make it a habit, and you will get lucid.
