      KaseyFitz's Workbook

      Reality Checks:
      -Pushing finger through hand.
      -Pushing hand through solid objects.
      -Holding nose and trying to breath.

      Dream Signs:
      -Teachers.
      -Unusual architecture.
      -Musicals/performing/being on stage.
      -Taekwondo/being in my Tkd uniform/being in my Tkd club hall/teaching Tkd

      Short-Term Goals:
      -Have my first lucid dream.
      -Increase dream vividness
      -Remember at least one dream per night.

      Long-Term Goals:
      -Attain solid control of lucid dreams.
      -Have lucid dreams, 'on command', when I want.

      Lucid/Dream Recall History:
      -2 months of dreams recorded.
      -One semi-lucid dream in that time.

      Current Technique:
      -MILD

      Times I naturally sleep:
      -Go to bed: 10pm
      -Wake up: 8:30am

      RC for 4/8/12

      Dad didn't have a phone and the phone rang for a long time. As my parents business runs on phones, they are usually answered withing the first 5 rings. I found this unusual and so did an RC. Tried to push my right pointer finger through my left palm while asking myself 'Is this real?'

      Lucid induction practice last night. MILD as I fell asleep. Dreamt twice. Woke up at around 3:30 unintentionally and logged them in my DJ. As I was falling asleep i tried to combination MILD+WILD. Almost got hypnagogic imagery, but didnt quite succeed. Fell back asleep and remembered 2 more dreams. RC after watch beeped and trying to encorporate it into bells because my life runs of bells as I'm at school and am a waitress and the chef calls us into the kitchen with bells.

      Remembered that last night, while attempting to induce HH, I requested my mind make a blue triangle and it worked, if only vaguely and dimly.

      Tries to mild last night. Repeating mantra and visualization. Got a bit off track and distracted, engrossed in the visualization. I also forgot to keep saying my mantra, as I almost fell asleep unaware, straight into deep sleep. I woke myself up about twice to continue visualization but forgot to keep repeating my mantra. Woke at 6:05am, recorded 5 dreams and fragments. Didnt go back to sleep, as my alarm goes off at 6:45 so I get up for school.

      Workbook entry. 7/8/13.

      Tried to MILD last night. Relaxed and started visualizing and chanting mantra. Accidentally fell asleep. Woke myself up, but again fell asleep. Slept so deep i didn't remember any dreams. Woke up another 2 times during the night as well.

      Was at Tkd yesterday afternoon. RC'd because I remembered its one of my dream signs.

      Starting to get into the mentality of "I haven't RC'd in a while *looks around to see if there is anything strange happening* ask myself 'is this real?' then RC"

      Went to bed with the intention to MILD. Was so tired that as soon as I had completed my relaxation techniques, after reading through my DJ entries, I went straight to sleep. . Starting to develop awareness and incorporate more RCs into my day.

      MILD last night as I went to sleep. Didn't incorporate relaxation element as I was already tired and from my previous experiences, this puts me to sleep earlier than I want to. Visualized becoming lucid in a current daydream and incorporated my mantra. My last thought before going to sleep was about lucid dreaming. Remembered 4 dreams.

      Napped a few hours before bed for about half an hour. MILD as I was falling asleep, during my nap and before bed. Woke up twice. Recorded 2 dreams. Would have remembered 3 or 4 but only half woke up, so didnt record.

      Mild last night. Focused on dream recall. Remembered 4 dreams. Keep waking up around 6am at the end of a dream and so is very vivid and easy to recall. Trying to work on increasing dream vividness and awareness.

      Napped in the afternoon for a short while 2 days ago. MILD before napping and full sleeping. Recorded 3 dreams.

      Performed a WBTB at 4am after sleeping 6 hours for around 20 mins. Listened to theta binaural beats as I fell asleep again. Recorded 3 dreams with much more detail than the three the night before.

      WBTB last night at 3:30 for 40 mins. Dreamt 3 times that I can remember in quite a good amount of detail. MILD as I went to sleep and WILD attempt and MILD after WBTB. No success unfortunately, but an attempt is an attempt after all.

      MILD as I fell asleep. Dreamt about one of my dream signs. I keep forgetting to RC throughout the day especially when I see a dream sign. My prospective memory isn't all that great. I'll start working on it.

      MILD as I fell asleep. Used a new mantra, a simpler one. Had my first nightmare since starting my dream journal exactly 2 months ago. Only had a tiny bit of control as I wrenched myself out of the dream. Totally non lucid though oh well keep trying this bit of control is a win though because it shows that something is getting through.

      For the past 2 nights my sleep has been very interrupted, due to the fact that I wasn't sleeping in the same state, let alone my own bed. Also I went to bed past 12 on both of these nights, much later than my usual 10:30-11pm sleep time. I was very tired for both do i didn't MILD and didnt even think about WBTB. My sleep was interrupted on the first night due to alarms and thing and I didn't wake up naturally, instead to a leaf blower outside the rented apartment's window. The second night my sleep wasn't interrupted, but again I didn't wake up naturally. My mum woke me up instead. I still had lucid dreaming on my mind, though. I've been thinking about dream incubation and MILD and as soon as I got home I searched and read about different techniques and things.

      Half an hour nap before bed last night. MILD as I fell asleep. Visualization and mantra. Remembered 2 dreams, both of which had a dream sign in them. Also, in both dreams, I couldn't hear. Recalling more detail and practicing prospective memory techniques. We'll see how it goes.

      Didnt try to perform any induction technique last night. Remembered one fragment, one longer dream. Am currently getting sick and want to have the most amount of sleep so no induction techniques until I'm better. Been considering swapping from MILD to FILD or SSILD. Both look interesting.

      For the past 3 days my dream recall has begun to get steadily less detailed. I've also only been remembering one dream, quite apart from my average 3 per night. I've started self hypnosis for dream recall and even though last nights dream was short, I was paying closer attention to detail as I journaled it. Still aiming for at least one dream per night for a full week, haven't been able to achieve that as yet. Also, as I didn't have much progress with MILD in 2 weeks I'm going to be swapping induction techniques on the weekend.

      Self-hypnosis to improve dream recall is really working. been using it 2 days in a row. Used it just before bed last night and had 3 dreams that I remembered. Not sure it was a good idea to do right before bed though, because the relaxation technique at the start almost made me fall asleep before I had started the hypnotism.

      Remembered one dream per night for a whole week! Hooray! Thank you self hypnosis. Now that all my assessments are over for the term and all I have to focus on now is summarizing, homework and revision, school-wise, I can start to invest more time in lucid dream induction practice.
