Rosnic's Workbook (Intro)

Hello everyone, I am a 15 year old teenager from New Jersey and am looking forward to learning how to control, and thoroughly enjoy my dreams.

Reality Checks

-Check my hands and count the number of fingers on each hand
-Look at clocks and watches for strange times
-Looking in books or reading something

Dream Signs

-If Im right about what a dream sign is then I don't have any dream signs.

Short Term Goals

-To be able to recall in detail my dreams
-How to influence what I am dreaming
-Be able to at least do this once a week if not more
-How to stop nightmares (I've been told this is possible)
-Avoid waking up in the middle of dreams (I have noticed in dreams that I can remember that I often will wake up in the middle of dreams during the middle of the night)

Long Term Goals

-Be able to achieve a full lucid dream in which I have full control.
-Be able to LD Often
-Learn what all these fancy Acronyms mean...

Lucid/Dream Recall History

I have a dream that I can fully remember in complete detail about once every 3-4 weeks. more often though is that I will have a dream that I seem to remember but will end up forgetting by the time I'm dressed in the morning (This happens about once a week). What got me interested in Lucid dreaming was something that happened when I was young. I was having a dream (Who knows about what) and I was just beginning an nightmare and I almost forced myself awake. I pushed this off as nothing until a few months ago it started happening regularly. I was begging to become slightly aware that I was dreaming and its like I sorta go into a panic mode and I force myself awake. I don't know what to think about that or if it means anything but I thought it was worth mentioning since that realization is what got me interested in dreams.

Current Technique

I don't really have a technique now but I would like to get one.

One other thing I should mention is that I picked an awful time to start this and with the start of High school I might be busy most nights and will only be able to do this 1-2 times a week. I hope that will not be an issue though. Oh and also I noticed that I ramble. a lot. and I did it in the recall history, but I can't think of any better way to explain my past experiences then that.

Really looking forward to this! Thanks!
