      Rosnic's Workbook

      Rosnic's Workbook (Intro)

Hello everyone, I am a 15 year old teenager from New Jersey and am looking forward to learning how to control, and thoroughly enjoy my dreams.

      Reality Checks

-Check my hands and count the number of fingers on each hand
-Look at clocks and watches for strange times
-Looking in books or reading something

      Dream Signs

-If Im right about what a dream sign is then I don't have any dream signs.

      Short Term Goals

-To be able to recall in detail my dreams
-How to influence what I am dreaming
-Be able to at least do this once a week if not more
-How to stop nightmares (I've been told this is possible)
-Avoid waking up in the middle of dreams (I have noticed in dreams that I can remember that I often will wake up in the middle of dreams during the middle of the night)

      Long Term Goals

-Be able to achieve a full lucid dream in which I have full control.
      -Be able to LD Often
-Learn what all these fancy Acronyms mean...

      Lucid/Dream Recall History

I have a dream that I can fully remember in complete detail about once every 3-4 weeks. more often though is that I will have a dream that I seem to remember but will end up forgetting by the time I'm dressed in the morning (This happens about once a week). What got me interested in Lucid dreaming was something that happened when I was young. I was having a dream (Who knows about what) and I was just beginning an nightmare and I almost forced myself awake. I pushed this off as nothing until a few months ago it started happening regularly. I was begging to become slightly aware that I was dreaming and its like I sorta go into a panic mode and I force myself awake. I don't know what to think about that or if it means anything but I thought it was worth mentioning since that realization is what got me interested in dreams.

      Current Technique

I don't really have a technique now but I would like to get one.

One other thing I should mention is that I picked an awful time to start this and with the start of High school I might be busy most nights and will only be able to do this 1-2 times a week. I hope that will not be an issue though. Oh and also I noticed that I ramble. a lot. and I did it in the recall history, but I can't think of any better way to explain my past experiences then that.

Really looking forward to this! Thanks!

Ok so I've read the first Two lessons (might be jumping the gun a little) And I think I've decided that I'm going to try MILD. While WILD sounds more effective I have heard before about sleep paralysis and Hypnotic frightening images, and while you say that its a misconception and isn't frightening, I find myself paranoid that something will still happen if I try it.

Also, does any Moderators or Apprentices or Etc, ever actually respond to these? or is this just something to be used as personal notes for me?

Have been having insomnia the last few nights. I have been practicing reality checks and it has slowly begun a routine and a habit. for the first time yesterday I preformed a reality check without thinking about it. it has only happened once so far but I think it's a sign of slow progress. I have also been using my dream journal every morning but other then one dream I had I haven't been able to recall anything (except one morning I could vaguely remember the color yellow for some reason, I made a note of this but it was weird). I had one dream that I was able to recall decently I believe two days after starting this. I don't remember it now but according to my journal it was a short dream that involved me on a cliff, then I just lost balance or something and began falling and was jolted awake. that is all that I have made a note of this weak.
